According to reports, the plant in Ponta Grossa, Brazil, is mainly used for hydraulic power steering systems, air conditioning systems, water pumps, and engine production timing belts and multi-ribbed belts. The expansion of the factory will provide these products with a broader manufacturing space.
The project will be carried out in two phases. The first phase is to expand the plant by 2,800 square meters, increase the production capacity of the synchronous belt by 50%, increase the production capacity of the multi-wedge belt by 15%, and purchase more new equipment in the second phase. The double belt production capacity doubled the capacity of the V-ribbed belt by 25%.
