Sintered pavement brick compression test procedure

Application scope:

This standard specifies the classification, marking, general requirements, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, operating instructions, packaging, transportation and storage of sintered pavers.

This standard is applicable to sintered pavers that are made of sintered shale, gangue, clay and other minerals and used for laying sidewalks, roadways, squares, warehouses, and floors. ).

Pavement tiles can have a variety of sizes, colors, and shapes.

classification:

1. Strength Category and Uses Category F: Pavements used for heavy vehicles.

SX class: Used for saturated bricks that are saturated with water and subject to freezing.

MX type: It is used for pavement tiles that do not generate ice under outdoor conditions.

Type NX: Indoor tiles that are not used outdoors and are allowed to be freed from freezing after water absorption.

2, wear categories and use occasions I: for sidewalks and traffic lanes.

Class II: For walking trails and lanes in residential areas.

Class III: For floors and courtyards in personal homes.

Compressive strength test method:

1. Selection of test equipment The relative error of the indicating value of the hydraulic pressure testing machine should not exceed ±1%. The upper and lower pressure plates should have at least one spherical hinged bearing. The expected maximum breaking load should be 20% of the measuring range -80. %between.

2. Test Step A: Measure the length and width of each test piece's connecting surface or pressure receiving surface. Take the average value to the nearest 1 mm.

B. Place the sample flat on the center of the pressure plate and load it perpendicular to the pressure surface. It should be even and stable, and no impact or vibration shall occur. The loading rate is preferably (2-6) kN/s until the sample is destroyed and the maximum failure load P is recorded.

C. Tests are conducted using half-bricks. The test specimens shall be converted into dry half blocks. The height and width shall be the original height and original width of the sample, and the length shall be 1/2 of the total length of the pavement tile. Test specimens can be prepared by any method, but should be free from damage and cracks. The pressure surface of the specimen should be leveled.
