China Exports Large Hydrogenation Reactors for the First Time

Two large forge welding hydrogenation reactors were loaded on the 20th in Dalian and will be shipped to Indian Petroleum. The two large forge welding hydrogenation reactors completed by China Yizhong Group and China Technology Development Corporation are the first products of its kind exported by China.

According to Cai Lianzhong, deputy general manager of China Yizhong Group, the two reactors that were exported for the first time had a weight of more than 500 tons and an average price of nearly 200,000 yuan per ton. The two reactors are completely in line with international standards from design to manufacturing, providing a model for future heavy-duty export projects. At present, China holds 22 international orders for large-scale reactors with a contract value of more than RMB 3 billion.

The hydrogenation reactor is mainly used for oil refining and heavy oil deep processing and is an important equipment for the petrochemical industry. 19 years ago, its design and manufacturing technology was monopolized by a few developed countries. Through independent research and development, China has overcome many difficulties such as large-scale forgings and complex welding technologies, and has realized the localization of hydrogenation reactors, and its technical level has reached the international advanced level. At present, it has occupied 90% of the domestic market.
