The State Administration of Work Safety released on May 17th that the State Administration of Work Safety, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, and the All-China Federation of Trade Unions recently revised the Provisional Measures for Preventing Heatstroke and Cooling Measures published on July 1, 1960 and drafted it. The Measures for the Management of Sunstroke Prevention and Cooling Measures were issued and solicited opinions from various localities.
According to the Measures, employers must not arrange for workers who have not undergone pre-employment occupational health examinations and workers who suffer from high-temperature occupational occupational contraindications to engage in high-temperature operations and high-temperature operations. At the same time, it is stipulated that the employer shall arrange for workers to operate during the hot weather, and adjust the operation time according to the actual situation: when the maximum daily temperature reaches 40°C or more, outdoor operations shall be stopped on the same day; when the maximum daily temperature reaches 37°C or more and 40°C or less, Employers shall arrange outdoor work for workers for no more than 5 hours, and shall not arrange outdoor work from 12:00 to 15:00. When the maximum daily temperature reaches 35°C or more and 37°C or less (excluding 37°C), the employer shall take a shift. In other ways, workers' working hours can be shortened, and workers must not be allowed to work overtime outside their homes.
It is understood that high-temperature weather refers to the weather with a maximum daily temperature of 35°C or more released to the public by meteorological stations subordinate to the competent meteorological department at or above the municipal level. The temperature shall be subject to the release of the meteorological station subordinate to the competent meteorological department at the city level or above.
