Entrusted by XXX, Xi'an Tianzhou Mining Technology Development Co., Ltd. conducted a detailed optional test on XXX oxidized ore from Nanzheng County, Shaanxi Province from November 27 to December 2007. . The purpose of the test is to provide preliminary information on the optional evaluation of the deposit and the rational processing techniques.
The ore is silicified dolomitic marble and crystalline dolomite or dolomitic marble. The target mineral zinc oxide exists in the form of smithsonite. In addition, some zinc replaces magnesium in dolomite and is present in the form of zinc-calcium dolomite. The content of smithsonite is about 2.08%, and the content of zinc-calcium dolomite is about 9.10%. The rest are gangue minerals mainly composed of carbonate mineral dolomite and calcite , of which the content of dolomite is 65-85%.
There are still some small agglomerates in the rock that may be small crystals of the smithsonite formed by the metamorphosis. The content is about 8% to 10%, and the particle diameter is between 0.02 and 0.1 mm.
The flotation of zinc oxide ore has always been a problem of mineral processing . In addition to the commonality of zinc oxide ore, the ore of this test has the following characteristics:
1. A small amount of smithsonite and some zinc-calcium dolomite coexist, and a part of zinc is contained in the lattice of zinc-calcium dolomite. This part of zinc is difficult to recycle by conventional beneficiation method;
2. The ore oxidation rate is as high as 92.85%;
3, fragile and easy to grind carbonate gangue and fine mud, causing difficulties in improving the grade of zinc concentrate;
4. The grade of raw ore zinc is only about 2%, which is already the marginal grade available for zinc oxide ore. The above ore characteristics have caused great difficulties for flotation test research.

A large number of trials and conditional tests were conducted by the testers. Finally, the sulphate flotation process using valproate and dodecylamine as the collector and Na 2 S as the vulcanizing agent was selected, and the zinc recovery rate was 69.97%. ore containing Zn 30.79%, silver-zinc concentrate containing 18.34 g / t of technical specifications.

Conclusion:

1. The oxidized ore of the XXX lead-zinc deposit in Nanzheng County, Shaanxi Province, is a silicified dolomitic marble and crystalline dolomite or dolomitic marble. The target mineral zinc oxide exists in the form of smithsonite. In addition, some zinc replaces magnesium in dolomite and is present in the form of zinc-calcium dolomite.
2. According to the nature of ore and the flotation condition test, the zinc oxide vulcanization flotation process with ketone and dodecylamine as the combined collector and sodium sulfide as the vulcanizing agent was determined, and the zinc recovery rate was 69.97%. The zinc concentrate contains 30.79% Zn and the zinc concentrate contains 18.34 g/ton of technical indicators.
3. In the production, a higher-grade octyl-based xanthate can be used instead of the amyl yellow drug in the test.
4. Usually, the zinc oxide ore contains a large amount of fine mud. The fine mud content of the ore sample is 47.80% (-400 mesh), and the zinc distribution rate is 26.38%. Because the ore sample recovery rate is not very high, in order to reduce the recovery rate loss, no desilting flotation test was carried out.
5. In the ore sample, a part of zinc exists in the form of zinc-calcium dolomite. Therefore, when the gangue is suppressed to improve the Zn grade, the zinc-calcium dolomite is also suppressed and thus lost in the tailings.
6, inhibition of sodium hexametaphosphate carbonate gangue, is more effective than water-glass, but its use can lead to difficulty tailings settle, in order to improve the production quality of Zn, as appropriate, a small amount (less than 200 g) was added.
7. According to the conditions of the condition test and the open circuit test, under normal production conditions, the flotation index will be improved to some extent.
