More than 120 Scania trucks equipped with Allison transmissions have received equipment that the company produces or modifies. According to Claudio Vicentini, CEO of Triel-HT, nine different Scania chassis have been modified for airport fire, industrial fire, civil defense and special explosives.

Vicentini said: “The automatic transmission is widely used because of its ease of use, excellent running performance, agile handling, and easier integration with equipment and electronic control systems equipped with fire trucks.â€
According to Vicentini, vehicles equipped with Allison automatic transmissions meet international standards, have high performance and work perfectly with other vehicles. The Allison automatic transmission has a 35% increase in acceleration over manual or AMT transmissions.
In the Triel-HT modified Scania chassis, models P250, P310, P360 FF, P440 FF and G580 are included. These trucks are already operating at more than 70 airports and air bases in Brazil, including remote areas such as Manicore and Fontebaya in the Amazon, Alcantara Air Force Base in Maranhão, and Campi in São Paulo. Allison Transmission
In addition to the 120 units already delivered, another 12 Scania special vehicles equipped with Allison automatic transmissions are currently in the final stages of preparation, which is part of a major investment plan for airport vehicles. Five of them are used by the Brazilian Airport Authority, and the Civil Aviation Department has also ordered four units, which will be sent to Komanda Tuba Airport (BA), Barre Linhaz Airport (MA) and Pato Branco Airport ( PR) and Patio Airport in Piaui. Two more were prepared for the Maringa fire brigade in the southern state of Parana, and the other will be used for the transport of explosives in Peru.
The equipment loaded by these special trucks varies from vehicle to car, including large loading accessories, high flow pumps, and foam generation and injection equipment (LGE).
