In May, among the main varieties of trucks, compared with April, the production of semi-trailer tractors slightly increased, the sales volume declined slightly, and the production and sales of other varieties all declined to varying degrees, among which truck non-integrated vehicles ranked the top decline. Compared with the same period of last year, all types of trucks maintained a relatively high growth. The monthly growth rate of the production and sales of non-completed trucks of trucks was higher than that of April, showing outstanding performance.

In May, the trucks produced 248,300 units and 247,700 units, representing a month-on-month decrease of 9.94% and 12.14%, a year-on-year increase of 23.88% and 24.86%; semi-trailer tractors sold 35,200 units and 34,900 units, and the production volume increased by 6.01% from the previous period. Heavy truck growth

In May, China produced 104,000 heavy trucks (including non-integrated vehicles and semitrailer tractors), an increase of 1.02 times year-on-year, and sales of 107,000 vehicles, an increase of 90.21% year-on-year. Among them, the production and sales of heavy trucks totaled 28,000 vehicles and 28,500 vehicles, an increase of 1.75 times and 1.45 times year-on-year; the production and sales of heavy trucks and non-integrated vehicles were 40,700 and 43,600 vehicles, an increase of 52.62% and 47.08%, respectively.

In May, sales of heavy-duty trucks with 26 tons of total weight ≤ 32 tons totaled 8,820 units, a year-on-year increase of 1.73 times, and sales of 19 tons of total trucks with total weight ≤ 26 tons were 15,700 units, up from a year earlier. The growth rate was 1.56 times; the sales of 14 tons of heavy trucks with a total mass of ≤ 19 tons were 3872 vehicles, an increase of 76.40% year-on-year.

From the January to May sales rankings of heavy truck manufacturers (including non-integrated vehicles and semi-trailer tractors), the top three companies were FAW, CNHTC and Dongfeng; sales were 110,000, 98,900 and 9.71 respectively. Ten thousand vehicles, which increased 1.96 times, 70.44%, and 1.90 times year-on-year respectively. Light truck growth is stable

In May, the production and sales of light trucks (including non-integrated vehicles and semi-trailer tractors) totaled 171,500 units and 176,800 units, an increase of 30.73% and 34.36% year-on-year. Among them, the production and sales of light trucks totaled 160,300 units and 164,700 units, a year-on-year increase of 28.89% and 30.31%; the production and sales of light trucks and non-integrated vehicles were 11,200 units and 12,100 units, an increase of 64.11% and 1.33 times respectively.

In May, in the segment of light trucks, the total sales of light truck trucks with 1.8 tons of total weight ≤ 3.5 tons were 90,600 units, an increase of 41.34% year-on-year. From the January to May sales rankings of light truck manufacturers (including non-integrated vehicles and semi-trailer tractors), the top three companies were Futian, Dongfeng and Jianghuai, with sales of 296,400, 101,300 and 88,500 respectively.
