Hunan Province is a large agricultural province, but the level of agricultural mechanization is not high. According to preliminary estimates, as of the end of 2012, the province's main mechanization level for comprehensive crops was 37.8%, which was significantly lower than the national average of 57%. According to the relevant plans, if we use 10 years, the level of agricultural mechanization in our province will be raised from the current level of less than 40% to nearly 70% (more than 70% will be the advanced level), and the annual increase in the power of agricultural machinery will be 4 million kilowatts. Every year, it needs to invest over 32 billion yuan.

Currently, there are more than 800 agricultural machinery manufacturing enterprises in Hunan Province. The small-sized disc tractors, crawler-type rotary cultivators, and internally-cooled small-scale combined rice machines produced in Hunan Province are well sold at home and abroad. However, the province's agricultural machinery industry as a whole showed a "multi, small, scattered, weak" feature. In 2012, the total output value of the province's agricultural machinery industry was only 16 billion yuan, which is less than the annual output value of an agricultural machinery manufacturing enterprise of Jiangsu Wodde Group.

At the matchmaking meeting on the 13th, the Hunan Economic and Information Commission organized more than 60 key agricultural machinery manufacturing enterprises in the province to sign on-site production and marketing contracts with agricultural machinery circulation enterprises, with the total amount exceeding RMB 350 million. It is expected that the key agricultural enterprises will achieve higher sales revenue in the province during the year. Annual growth of 50%.
