On October 30th, the Beijing Capital Airport Express Charging Station was officially opened. The 450kW charger can fully charge the pure electric shuttle bus within 15 minutes, and the charging is as fast as refueling. 17 pure electric buses will travel between the terminals 24 hours a day, 24 hours a day.
Since the shuttle bus between the airport terminals requires 24 hours of continuous operation throughout the day, fast charging becomes the only technical route to ensure vehicle operation. The micro-macro second-generation fast-charge battery LpCO multi-component lithium battery has fifteen minutes of fast charging and long life, which is very suitable for this application.
The 17 fast-charged pure electric shuttle buses are equipped with Futian and Xiamen Jinlong models respectively. These vehicles will soon be put into operation for the APEC summit held in Beijing.
