The key technologies and demonstration projects for the direct liquefaction of millions of tons of coal that were mainly undertaken by the Shenhua Group were identified in Beijing last week by experts from the China Coal Industry Association. According to the latest production data, in the first half of 2011, the plant was operating stably, producing 467,000 tons of oil products and achieving a profit and tax of 800 million yuan. The appraisal committee evaluated the project's successful development and application of key technologies for direct liquefaction of millions of tons of coal, making China the only country in the world that realizes the industrialization of direct liquefaction technology with a million-ton-ton coal, and the overall technological level is the world leader.
Zhang Yuzhuo, the general manager of Shenhua Group, introduced that the Shenhua direct liquefaction project has developed core technologies such as coal direct liquefaction process and coal direct liquefaction efficient catalyst and formed a coal direct liquefaction complete process technology with independent intellectual property rights. At the same time, the project has integrated and innovated several environmental protection technologies such as falling film multi-effect evaporation to realize full recovery of sewage, discharge of gas standards, and comprehensive utilization of liquid residue, gas, and boiler ash, and explored and developed key technologies for CO2 capture and storage. , Successfully implemented the first full-process CCS demonstration project of domestic coal chemical industry.
The demonstration project of direct liquefaction of the million-ton coal has been successfully commissioned since December 30, 2008. After process optimization and retrofitting, the plant has been operating safely and stably for a long period of time. The flexibility of the project, production load, and operating rate have been achieved. The oil yield and energy conversion efficiency all reached the design value. Experts recommended that Shenhua Group further optimize the production system, ensure long-term safe and stable operation of the device, and scientifically plan and actively promote the industrialization of coal direct liquefaction technology.
Shenhua Group cooperated with the General Branch of China Coal Industry Corporation, Sinopec Engineering Company, China Yizhong, Sinopec Beijing Petrochemical Academy, Shanghai Electric Group, etc., and completed this nation’s major energy strategy project in the last ten years, making full use of China’s abundant coal resources to develop coal. The direct liquefaction of new-type coal chemical products can alleviate the problems of relatively inconvenient storage, processing, and transportation of coal as a terminal energy source, and at the same time, it also changes the traditional mode of utilization of crude coal, low efficiency and high pollution, and lays the foundation for the clean and efficient use of coal. .
