The foundation of PetroChina's first domestic chemical fertilizer project

On July 10th, the foundation of Ningxia Petrochemical Company's annual output of 450,000 tons of synthetic ammonia/800,000 tons of urea project. The annual output of 450,000 tons of synthetic ammonia / 800,000 tons of urea project is located in Wenchang South Road, Xixia District, Yinchuan City. It covers a total area of ​​approximately 27 hectares. The estimated total investment of the project is 2.522 billion yuan. It is expected to be completed and put into operation in the first half of 2013. By that time, annual sales revenue of 1.372 billion yuan and profits and taxes of 367 million yuan will be realized.


The project is located in the localization of the Ming Dynasty. Ningxia Petrochemical Co., Ltd. and Ryukyu Corporation cooperated closely to jointly undertake research and development of special projects for science and technology, and completed the development of synthetic ammonia process packages and urea process packages, which enabled PetroChina to take the lead in achieving technological breakthroughs in this field.


After the project is completed and put into production, CNPC Ningxia Petrochemical Company will achieve a fertilizer production capacity of 3 million tons, becoming China's largest fertilizer production enterprise, and will lay a strategic position for Ningxia as a national fertilizer production base.
