The "Conditions" stipulate that within 2 km of the boundary of the urban planning area, within 1 km of the surrounding areas of schools, residential areas and other enterprises that strictly prevent pollution, and the protection of scenic spots, nature reserves, and drinking water sources as prescribed by the people's governments at and above the county level. It is strictly forbidden to build or expand wood preservation projects in areas that need protection. If the timber anti-corrosion projects that have already been put into operation in the above areas do not meet the access requirements, they shall be rectified within a time limit or withdrawn through "relocation, conversion" or other methods.
At the same time, the “conditions†are aligned with the entry requirements, and the production capacity of newly-built and expanded wood preservatives production projects should be no less than 2,000 tons/year, and the newly-established anti-corrosion wood processing projects should have a production capacity of no less than 10,000 cubic meters/year. The production workshop shall be provided with anti-leakage and anti-corrosion treatment.
It is also required that liquids containing wood preservatives discharged from pressurized tanks should be recycled, recycled or disposed of. Waste discharges must meet the comprehensive wastewater discharge standards or the environmental standards of the project site.
