(a) The power section

1. When the low-voltage AC power supply fails, the indicator light and each filament are off. Inspection can be performed in the order of power input, transformer primary, transformer secondary low voltage, etc. 2. The high-voltage DC power supply can be turned on when the indicator light and each filament are bright, but the electro-ocular tube does not emit green light, and when the replacement of the new electro-ocular tube is invalid, the problem may occur in the high-voltage DC power supply. The universal meter AC voltage 500 V is available for inspection. The two anode voltages of the rectifier should be approximately 250 V each for ground. Otherwise the problem lies in the transformer's secondary high voltage or wiring. If there is electricity, the cathode of the rectifier should be measured with a DC voltage of 500 V, and there should be about +200 V above the ground. If there is no DC voltage or the voltage is low, replace the rectifier or filter capacitor. And pick up the contacts.

(B) Oscillator and cathode output device failure

When using the high weekly file to measure the exact balance point, you can replace the oscillating tube and the cathode output tube, if you can not solve the problem, you need to measure the voltage and wiring of the two tubes. The oscillating tube anode should be about ten 150 V and the second gate should be about +60 V. The anode of the cathode output tube should be about +250 V. Reusable high-impedance headphones or speakers (low-resistance through the output transformer)**, can also be used to track the oscilloscope to check each signal point. This will find the problem.

(III) Failure of the bridge

Its performance is whether the indicator is flickering or the equilibrium point cannot be found at the same time when using the high or low cycle to rotate the reading button or the multiplication button during measurement.

1. First check the electrode system in the bridge

Remove the electrode from the known resistance of about 1000 ohms. If a resistance of about 1000 ohms can be measured then the problem is at the electrode or wiring. Replace or repair the electrode system. If it cannot be measured, continue to check.

2. Reading button section

Sometimes the sliding wire resistance inside the reading button is poorly contacted. Clean the contact point with a clean silk cloth, etc., so that the contact can be good everywhere.

3. Multiplication button section

Due to the internal band switch misalignment or poor contact, you can use cotton to absorb a small amount of anhydrous ethanol or trichloroethylene wipe and reset.

4. The problem of capacitance

Sometimes the edge of the light strip of the indicator is blurred, and the bridge arm capacitance can be adjusted to a clear degree.

(d) Indicator failure

1. If the indicator light band edge is still blurred after adjusting the bridge capacity, replace the electric eye tube 6E1 or 6E2. The former green fluorescent belt moves in a fan shape, and the latter moves up and down, and the wiring is different.

2. The indicator action is not sensitive. At this time, the amplifier tube and the electro-ocular tube can be replaced. If it is still not sensitive, check the voltage and wiring of each pole.
