Technical and economic indicators of salt mines

The technical and economic indicators of sea salt, lake salt and well mineral salt in China are different due to different sources and processing of raw materials, such as production cost, raw material consumption and product quality. According to the "Statistical Annual Report of the Salt Industry in 1995", in terms of product quality, the mine salt is required to contain 99.03% of sodium chloride, the lake salt contains 96.7% of sodium chloride, and the sea salt contains 94.67% of sodium chloride (including the Yangtze River estuary). In the world, the northern sea salt contains 96.06% of sodium chloride and the southern sea salt contains 92.99% of sodium chloride.
