Delphi set up its first factory in Morocco in 1999 to produce automotive wiring harnesses, and in 2008 set up a second factory in the area.
Mike Beckett, CEO of Delphi Europe, Middle East and North Africa, said that Morocco's proximity to Europe, staff proficiency and government support have provided a good environment for auto parts production.
Delphi has already reached cooperation with the local government of Morocco and signed a labor employment agreement with the local human resources department at the opening ceremony of the Ganitla factory.
