Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd. sets a medium- and long-term strategic goal for overseas markets: By 2024, overseas sales will account for 15% of the total sales volume of Dongfeng Commercial Vehicles. Dongfeng Brand will occupy a leading position among Chinese brands in the target market. We have been cooperating with Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd. since 2008 and it is almost 8 years since now. We have successfully introduced Dongfeng products into the Vietnamese market. From the initial few hundred vehicles to more than 2,000 vehicles in 2014, Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle won a good market response in the Vietnamese market. At present, Vietnamese customers especially like the Dongfeng brand. Everyone knows when it comes to Dongfeng. In 2015, our sales are expected to exceed 2,000 vehicles.

My company is a very large group. The business involves manufacturing, insurance, etc. There are subsidiaries in Pakistan and Japan. Our cooperation with Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd. mainly includes vehicle and parts business.

Chinese brand cars entered the Pakistan market more than 10 years ago. However, Pakistan’s commercial vehicle market was almost monopolized by Japanese brands. With the promotion of the brand and the implementation of a series of marketing policies, Dongfeng brand commercial vehicles have been recognized and loved by more and more local customers. Dongfeng commercial vehicles are very cost-effective in the Pakistan market, and their product quality and service are also trusted by customers. In 2014, our company accumulatively sold 150 Dongfeng commercial vehicles. In 2015, our sales target was 200 vehicles. In the future, I believe there will be more Dongfeng brand cars in the streets of Pakistan.

The new joint venture company was formally launched on January 26, 2015. In Chile, there are 33 truck brands, and there are only 7 Chinese brands. The Dongfeng brand entered the Chilean market six years ago. Faced with many brands that have established themselves in the Chilean market for more than 20 years, we continue to deliver to our customers: “Dongfeng” is a car brand from China that is unique and trustworthy. In 2013, a total of more than 90 Dongfeng brand vehicles were sold. In 2014, sales exceeded 500 vehicles, among which Dongfeng commercial vehicles exceeded 100 vehicles. In 2015, the target sales volume is 1,100 units. It is hoped that the sales volume of Dongfeng Commercial Vehicles will be greatly improved on the basis of 2014.
