(November 11, 2013, Houston) Rockwell Automation has released AADvanceWorkbench 2.0 to help manufacturers speed up the startup and operation of process safety applications. AADvanceWorkbench is a complete software design, configuration and maintenance software environment that is ideal for applications that require flexible architecture, distributed security, and hybrid SIL ratings.

The new Workbench software is one of the first software tools in the industry to meet the requirements of T3 and, in accordance with the IEC61508 standard, it generates T VRheinland certified SIL3 code. This can drastically reduce verification of your application.
AADvanceWorkbench2.0 has a multi-user, multi-controller environment with built-in version control and tracking capabilities.
