From the announcement of the tender announcement, SAIC Volkswagen Shanghai Anting Plant will carry out bidding for the automatic welding tongs project, and the new plant will be put into production for the T-Cross model and the Polo NF model.
The new car is positioned as a new small SUV, equipped with a 1.0T small displacement engine. It is expected to meet consumers in 2018 after the official launch of the Anting plant in Shanghai.
In terms of design, the new T-Cross model breaks the Volkswagen's doll-style design, and the details are handled in a more youthful style. In the absence of sportiness, it adds a touch of fashion. The acceleration time from zero to 100 km can be controlled within 10.3 seconds, and the top speed can reach 188 km/h.
