A few days ago, the 50,000 tons per year oil sulphonate technological transformation and expansion project built by Shengli Oilfield Zhongsheng Environmental Protection Co., Ltd. was completed and put into production. The commissioning of this project not only marks Dongying City, Shandong Province, as the country’s largest petroleum sulfonate production base, but also marks the tertiary oil displacement agent and its use technology, which will increase the oil recovery of most oil fields in China by more than 20%.

It is understood that petroleum sulfonate is a kind of surfactant. In the process of oil displacement, petroleum sulfonate can reduce the interfacial tension, emulsification and solubilization of oil and water to achieve the purpose of increasing the rate of adoption. At present, the main oilfields in the eastern part of China are in the late stage of secondary oil recovery for waterflooding development. After undergoing secondary oil recovery, about 60% of the crude oil resources are still not recovered. The tertiary oil recovery technology based on polymer flooding is becoming part of the The main measures to increase production in the old oil fields. According to the experimental results, using more than 130 tons of crude oil per ton of petroleum sulfonate and its unique technology can increase oil recovery from high permeability reservoirs by 20% to 30%. According to industrial tests in Shengli Oilfield, the average daily output per well of 10 wells has increased by 15 tons, and now production is four times that before using this technology. The increase in crude oil production will be equivalent to half of the total crude oil output of these oil fields in the past 50 years.

        •Inlet pressure and outlet pressure: The inlet pressure of standard injection pump is 0-2MPa (sufficient liquid supply should be guaranteed), the inlet pressure of supercharging should be 2-25MPa.
