China Drying Network was held in Beijing Jingyan Hotel on August 15th organized by China Agricultural Association Agricultural Products Storage and Processing Branch and the Food Science and Nutrition Engineering College of China Agricultural University. Professor Bi Jinfeng, Director of the Agricultural Products Processing Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Prof. Li Xiaoguang of the Planning and Design Research Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture, and Prof. Zhang Zhentao, a researcher of the Institute of Physics and Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences attended the meeting.
The meeting communicated on the processing technology, equipment, application and existing problems in the processing of agricultural products, and discussed new drying technologies such as variable temperature differential pressure expansion combined drying, solar steam drying, and vacuum freeze drying. At the meeting, the scientific and technical personnel of the Institute carried out exchanges on the R&D patented equipment, the solar heat pump combined drying system, with experts and company personnel participating in the meeting.
