Recently, GAC Mitsubishi Motors Co., Ltd. and Mitsubishi Motors Sales (China) Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the AQSIQ in accordance with the requirements of the Regulations on the Management of Defective Automobile Product Recalls. Since May 29, 2017, the following parts have been recalled. Jin Xuan car, a total of 137,090 vehicles:
(1) GAC Mitsubishi Motors Co., Ltd. recalled some of the Jinxuan cars produced during the period from October 26, 2012 to June 4, 2015, totaling 119,543 vehicles;
(II) Mitsubishi Motors Sales (China) Co., Ltd. recalled some imported ASX Jinxuan cars produced from July 7, 2010 to March 20, 2012, totaling 17,547 vehicles.
Some vehicles in this recall range will be dripped from the periphery of the wiper motor due to the moisture stored in the front windshield wiper cover, and accumulate around the breathing hole of the motor. During the cooling process after the front windshield wiper motor is running, rainwater is sucked into the motor from the breathing hole, causing internal parts to rust, jam or circuit failure, resulting in malfunction of the wiper motor, which may affect the driver's vision during normal driving. Increase the risk of vehicle collision and there are potential safety hazards. GAC Mitsubishi Motors Co., Ltd. and Mitsubishi Motors Sales (China) Co., Ltd. will replace the front windshield wiper motor assembly for customers (the new motor assembly has a tarpaulin added to the breathing hole resin cap) to eliminate safety hazards.
