Luo Ma Company wins Mk 41 vertical launch system improvement contract

It will target the US Navy's Ticonderoga class cruiser and the Ali Burke class destroyer.
As the only launch system capable of simultaneously launching air defense, anti-submarine, and ground-strike missiles, the Mk 41 VLS can receive commands from different weapon control systems, and Lockheed Martin has been the prime contractor for the system for more than 32 years.
