Sony will launch QRIO smart lock through Makuake website

Japanese electronics company Sony Corp. has once again turned to the Makuake crowdfunding website because it aims to introduce the QRIO smart lock that allows the door lock to be controlled via a smartphone. Sony said: “It is looking forward to that feedback from gadget enthusiasts.” The first 200 people only need to pay 95 US dollars to get a prototype. Sony hopes to receive 1,500 orders. On the Crowdfunding page of the QRIO Smart Lock, Sony said: "The product also allows people to connect smart phones, such as sharing encrypted keys, which means that when you are going to be late for a party on the roof, you no longer need to Go downstairs and open the door for friends."
The QRIO smart lock was officially launched by Sony and the World Innovation Lab later this month. A similar product to the QRIO smart lock is a San Francisco-based company that created a product called August Smart Lock, but QRIO claims its own product and does not require tools to install it. The August lock, which costs $279.99, requires a Put the screw.
