Yuchai launches 3 new electric power products for ships

On March 30th, the advanced technology of the world's four famous internal combustion engine research institutes was integrated, and the new ship electric power products (ie 12VC, 12VT, 8C engines) independently developed by Yuchai were grandly launched at Yuchai headquarters.

Liu Zheng, director of the Fisheries and Vessel Inspection Bureau of the Ministry of Agriculture, said that the launch of these three high-tech new products means that the product spectrum of Yuchai Shipbuilding is becoming more and more perfect, which is not only a milestone in the development of Yuchai’s shipbuilding industry, but further It has improved the market competitiveness of Yuchai's marine power products, and it is also a major event in the history of China's ship power development, which will play a very important role in the development of China's shipbuilding industry.

It is understood that 12VC, 12VT, 8C ship electric power new products are characterized by energy saving, high efficiency, reliability, durability, light weight and environmental protection, and compact appearance. Among them, the 12VT engine is suitable for service vessels, yachts of more than 18 meters, and land-based engines of 700kW to 800kW. The 8C engine is suitable for 5,000-ton to 7,000-ton transport vessels, 40- to 60-meter trawlers, light fishing vessels, and 800 kW to 1000 kW land-based generator sets and 600 kW to 800 kW marine auxiliary engines. The 12VC engine is suitable for 7,000 to 8,000 tons of transport vessels, passenger ships, engineering vessels, and 1200 kW to 1500 kW land-based generator sets.

At present, Yuchai's high-speed marine engine products have 14 series, with displacements ranging from 2.66L to 79.13L and power coverage from 32kW to 1300kW. There are 18 series of engine products for power generation in Yuchai. The displacement covers 2.66L to 79.13L and the power covers 30kW to 1650kW.
