Zhong Yuwei told reporters that this engine has passed a cumulative 40,000 hours bench test and one million kilometers of vehicle road verification.
According to reports, in the next 2 to 3 years, YC6K will mainly support Chery heavy trucks. Yuchai, CIMC and Chery will also set up a joint venture at the end of 2009 to produce 6K engines in Wuhu. “Cheerful heavy trucks are also high-end routes, and the competition brands are mainly joint-venture heavy trucks such as GAC Hino. We hope to use Chery as an excellent vehicle partner to try to establish a new supporting model and promote the 6K gold displacement model. Mature and market-oriented."
Prudent strategy

Zhong Yuwei told reporters that YC6K is scheduled to be put into production in small batches at the end of 2010. The target next year is 3,000 units, and volume production will be achieved in 2012, reaching 12,000 units.

At the same time, in order to ensure the stability of the quality and durability of the products, Yuchai has adopted two sets of supplier systems.
