In 2011, Indonesia's natural rubber production was 2.64 million tons, up 2% year-on-year; private output increased by 40,000 tons, the government increased 7,600 tons, and manor increased 1,600 tons. Indonesia's natural rubber exports amounted to 2.546 million tons, an increase of 8.5% over the same period of the previous year; of which 2.48 million tons were exported from standard rubber and 70,000 tons from tobacco tablets. In addition to the decline in exports in November and December in 2011, the export volume in other months was the highest in the past three years, indicating that exports remained strong.
