The first is to control the expansion of large chlorine consumption products and adjust the product structure in a timely manner. At present, large quantities of chlor-alkali products, such as methane chloride, propylene oxide, epichlorohydrin, trichloropropene, and organic silicon, are already in excess. Therefore, not only the expansion of bulk chlorine consumption products should be controlled, but also efforts should be made to develop "chlorine II" and " Chlorine three generations" and other alternative products.
Second, the eastern enterprises should seize the current opportunities for the diversification of olefin sources to develop new processes such as ethylene oxide chlorination and acetylene-dichloroethane.
Third, companies should increase the degree of product differentiation to avoid peer vicious competition.
Fourth, due to the impact of mineral resources, overcapacity, and the production process, alumina, the largest product of alkali consumption, has gradually weakened the pull factor of alumina to caustic soda. In addition, due to the influence of the US and other countries that revitalize their industries, caustic soda exports are not optimistic. The situation has also emerged.
Fifth, in the face of overcapacity and vicious competition, enterprises should appropriately control production load, rational marketing, and avoid cost and price inversion in order to ensure healthy and orderly development of the industry.
