How to choose a motorcycle oil? Motor oils commonly used in motorcycles are mainly two types: one is engine oil, and the other is gear oil. Although the grade of oil is classified according to the standards of the American Petroleum Institute (API), it is represented by English letters: S is the gasoline engine oil, A, B, C, D... are the oil grades, and the higher the grade is, the higher the grade is. Motorcycles use at least SE grades and high-end cars recommend SG grades. Another parameter of oil selection is the viscosity of the oil. In the Central Plains region, 30 oils are generally used in summer, and 40 oils are generally used in winter. The current development trend is the use of composite motor oils, such as "Guangyang 125" motor, and SG15W/40 engine oil, which can be used in all seasons. 

The two-stroke engine oil, when used together with gasoline, is combusted and then discharged together with the exhaust gas from the exhaust pipe, thus requiring less carbon residue and good high-temperature cleanability, and cannot be replaced with other oils.

As for the quality classification of two-stroke oil, it is currently not completely unified internationally. In fact, FASO, FB, and FC are generally used by Japan Automotive Standards Organization (JASO); China is divided into ERA, ERB, ERC, and ERD. FC grade oil is generally recommended. FC is a semi-synthetic engine oil, which has the characteristics of less smoke and good detergency. It is an environmentally friendly, low smoke edge. 
